David Toube of Harry's Place filmed ranting like a madman

Viewers can watch David Toube of Harry's Place making an utter fool of himself, insolently disrupting a meeting by Cage Prisoners at the launch of their report on 'Detention without Charge in the UK', at Freshfields law firm in Central London.

Toube regularly blogs for Harry's Place, the site whose dictum is 'Liberty if it means anything is the right to tell people what they don't want to hear'.

Watch Toube prove that while HP bloggers like telling people what they don't want to hear, they don't appear very keen on offering others equal opportunity to do the same.

Toube is a virulent islamophobe and an ardent zionist. If anyone made comments about Jews or Judaism as he does about Muslims and Isalm he would cry anti-semite, Nazi and Hitler. Yet he thinks it's fair game to do so to Muslims and Islam.

Drawing attention to links between Awlaki and Cage Prisoners reflects well on David Toube. I am glad that Engage has decided to give further publicity to this.

Cleary Gottlieb must be incandescent because they're trying to attract some very influential clients from the Gulf, just as well he's not a partner. I wonder if they knew about his HP activities?
My colleague in Freshfields says everyone there is keenly trying to keep a straight face around his brother who works there and tipped him off about the event in the first place.

Characterising speaking out against al Quaeda as 'islamophobic', and cowardly attempts to get a guy in trouble with his employers.
