| | Six men have appeared at Kingston Magistrates Court on charges pertaining to the attack on Kingston mosque in November last year. Two of the six have entered not guilty pleas on charges of affray and one count of religiously aggravated criminal damage.

Kingston mosque was attacked during a demonstration against “extremism” in the town last year. The men are alleged to have attacked the mosque urinating on its walls, smearing bacon on cars parked nearby and on the mosque walls and throwing bottles of beer and smashing windows terrifying the elderly Muslims who were inside the building at the time.
The case resumes on 23rd May.
